That's good, never heard that one yet! p

We definitely need something new at this point,
The continental paint job with the United decal
Slapped on it needs to go.
You would think these new airplanes would be
Painted in new livery?

That ugly livery was canned years ago. Long before the merger. The tulip however, had heft and should have been retained.

The last paint job with the different shades of blue was in my opinion perfect. Great colors and modernized tulip worked rather well together.

However, this is the first time in recent memory that all the planes have the same paint at the same time. What does that say to our consistency of product? There is a reason all out premium passengers bailed. I had a TK guy in the rt seat on this last HNL trip. He was appalled when I told him how often the WiFi worked on these planes. He had no idea it was that bad.

Anyone remember trying to cool on the ground, a battle ship Grey guppy in LAS or PHX in the summer?

Are you suggesting that premium passengers bailed on United because of different aircraft paint jobs? I don't think that would even make the list.

UAL needs to go back and do an updated white, orange, red and blue with the tulip on the tail.

Uh no....

We appear to have turned a corner and finally building a NEW brand. The last thing we want to do is remind passengers of the days of yore with relics of the past. File the tulip in 1984 and move forward.

With tired, generic branding with no relevance to the company or its name?

You're absolutely right it is time to move on, Continental is gone, time to move forward.

The best looking jet in the fleet is the retro friendship-they all should look like that.
