The 767-400 had NO business being banded up. It caused all the other WB pilots to get less pay. It was a product of JPOS and his attempt at gaming the SLI. Sorry no sympathy from most. You had an artificial payraise for a while. If you want full time WB pay, bid WB equipment. Otherwise it's just like SRM money. Enjoy when you get but never budget your life around it.

I'm way beyond it. Just pointing out why we are in this position. Nothing more nothing less.
Now if you want a list of people still hung up on it I hear there is still a lawsuit that has already been thrown out once lol.......

Coming from the LCal Side, the 76-4 was NOT pay banded up. It was pay banded to the 777 and 787 as a widebody.
The argument about JPOS is interesting. Have heard it numerous times and just don't agree. Keep in mind, before the merger we (LCAL) had already had a contract proposal that kept widebody aircraft paybanded.
But that is in the past.
Looking at today, we have the issue that the 76-3 is paying a few dollars more than a 75-2. It was brought up during the contract roadshows, that those aircraft [76-3] (along with the majority of the LUAL 75-2's) were leaving the fleet.
Guess what. They didn't and aren't.
To make matters worse, they are probably staying around for a while since we are doing Polaris upgrades to them!
I remember pilots saying they were voting YES for C12 because they had to stop LCal pilots from "stealing their upgrades". That the deal wasn't great, but we had to get to SLI and "will fix it next time".
Well, next time has come and gone as we did an extension till 2019.. and never fixed the 76-3 pay. [along with numerous other items not fixed]
True. I don't live paycheck to paycheck.. and hopefully most senior pilots don't anymore either.
But it doesn't change the fact that for a good amount of EWR 756 pilots (almost all from before the merger, ie Legacy Pilots), they are either going to take a paycut, or will lose the opportunity to make a little more.
Guess we can expect you to advocate raising the other widebodies at a higher percentage than the 76-4 in the survey.. what about the 787-8? Guess it also falls into the 76-4 category. How much of a raise should we give the 74's?

I'm not going down your guys LCAL vs LUAL road. Nice baiting. Bottoms line it was gaming by JPOS. Believe what you chose to, but do a little research outside of the other scabforum, and you'll see.
767-400 belongs with the other 757/767 type. It was 100% carried up thanks to JPOS. When it has the capacity of a 747/777 then it deserves the same pay.
787 - I can go either way. Not sold on either. It has the legs of a 777 but the capacity of a 767. Dec 83.... It should be above the 767 but below a true large WB.
Anyone with half a brain who has read the SLI proposals knows how our banding happened. To deny facts is lunacy.
So for now we have the current banding which can change how much your paycheck is every month based on how the company designs flying within the SAME type rating at the same base.
Yeah that makes a ton of sense. But sorry back to your *****ing about losing money lol.

No widebody pilot was harmed in any way because of the 767-400 pay! The pay rates were set at Delta minus one year. Delta set the bar! 747-777 was never going to be higher then Delta. The 767-400 had to pay WB pay because that was the payscale it was on at CAL. If it was lowered, 767-400 pilots would have taken a paycut when the contract was signed!!! If the majority wants to unband the payscale during the next contract cycle we can. This contract was just to get the 2 pilot groups together.
