What does your driving record say? This is one of those cases where you may want to consult with one of those interview prep people. They have experience in how to handle this stuff.

Out of the 3, only one was in my state, and only that one appears on my record. It states:

[DATE] CONV: (202)IMPROPER EQUIPMENT - SPEEDOMETER

It states the magic conviction word, thats why I am inclined to answer yes. I did not appear in court, just paid a attorney who said I got this.

I'm sorry...I don't want to steer you wrong. But you need to also cross check the NDR for stuff that doesn't necessarily show up in your state DMV report. Honesty is the best policy, but you don't want to unduly punish yourself for things that didn't involve a conviction.

If there is a new hire out there scheduled for the Jan class, can you post when you interviewed?

Wouldn't that be nice!.......I think the upgrades are less....factoring in attrition

Unless we get some upgrades moving the bid is dead to me.

Does that also equate to 300 upgrades?

No, the way it was phrased to me was that the increase in flying would account for the need of an additional 300+ pilots across the 737/320 fleets. So that would mean an additional (approximately) 150 Captains and 150 FOs, somewhere across the system in those fleets. It would still translate into the need for 300 new hires, as the 150 Captains would most likely have to be backfilled (unless we get a bunch of IAH widebody FOs getting bids)

+1. It's more of an honestly test than anything. The more you leave out and they find out about, the more of a problem you face.

I have to disagree. The only thing that matters is checkrides/ pink slips. A stage check in 141 world was just to make sure progress was coming along and nothing more. Check rides are the only thing officially entered into the system thus the only thing that matters.

Live by the sword - die by the sword - go for it.

Is it worth a couple mil of career earnings ? Let UAL make the determination if something is important in an applicant's background but hey that's just me.

I have no busts so i cant say from personal experience but what i can say is i was a chief pilot for my 141 school and there is absolutly 0 reason to put that down. No pria, and unless i can be proven wrong, there is nothing on the application process that even asks for a stageride failure. I know the military has its own form of stage check and i dont know if those mean more or not. A 141 stage check failure is litterally just saying "ok your not quite ready for your checkride, we dont want you to have a failure on your record so train up a little more and try again."
