Yea presidents can't introduce bills. My civics knowledge is lacking lol.
But they were republicans. There's a lot of things important to me politically but I always vote for the team that supports labor. My high-paying job is more important to me than guns/gays/taxes/immigration/etc.

The Open Skies Agreement that Norwegian applied under was NOT approved under Obama. That would be Bush II. The Obama administration did delay NAI for over 3 years though.

Does anyone know why the Obama Administration approved the NAI application to operate if they were doing this flag of convenience thing?
Seems pretty silly for Obama to throw the aviation industry under the bus. If they bring in a bunch of foreigners, that's allot of tax revenues that won't stay here. Not only do US companies fail, but employees cease making money, and the money that foreigners are making won't be taxed here.

This guy went on Fox, and I can assure you he caught the attention of Trump, and has now put him on the spot light regarding this matter. How about everyone stops acting like a democrat, republican, trump supporter, or obama supporter and just come together so we can make sure we can take care of our jobs. Unbelievable.

I was recently in an establishment where some people asked me what I am, a Republican or Democrat.... I replied that I am an American.
Everyone booed and told me "It doesnt work that way..."

You guys are really getting spun up over what I don't think is a big threat to pilot unions. We already have plenty of US carriers that aren't unionized, and most of the guys I talk to wish they were.
No one in their right mind would do this job without union protection... and you can already opt out, even before this law (which would be idiotic at best).
