Seems like the union is constantly working hard to get rid of the 12am starts in ONT and ending in PHL or SDF at 12pm or 1pm after 3 legs. The same for working your way back from the east coast on the last day/night. They’re not all like that though. There’s a fair number of trips with commercials on one or both ends.

I’m 1.5yrs in and can hold day time flying. With that being said it’s not your SWA AM’er/PM’er flying and I find myself not even having the time or energy to get out and run. Think long days and short layovers most of the time. It’s not bad if your ultimate goal is to be up and flying on the front side of the clock. If there’s any specific questions feel free to ask away.
I heard that people were commuting to other bases instead of being able to drive to work at ONT. I thought ONT went to Asia?

When you say that you have day flying, what hours are you working?

You'll be surprised how fast per diem disappears in HNL. These days I get into HNL around 6 am and gone by 9am next day. And to answer your question, ONT is domestic.

I'm sure it was. Lets just say I became good friend with Bob at Chuck's Steakhouse Waikiki. Best views and happy hour Mai Tais on Waikiki.

Was sad to see the new owners of Outrigger make them close a few years ago.

Ups scheduling software is efficient. I'm sure Fedex will follow.
