One airplane/engine/avionics (for now, anyway) to learn, and a lot less opportunity to get used as a reserve.

The loo isn't in the cockpit on the Bus, which is also nice. And we never have to put jumpseater bags in the belly.

That just means that hour for hour of pay, over the long run, the Bus has to fly less sorties for the same amount of money..... work smarter, not harder!

Hmm, not sure how that's working smarter since almost all domestic trips are rig and it takes you longer to get somewhere in the bus. Seems if I can fly faster and get paid the same, I'll work less over the long run on a faster jet. Maybe you bus guys have your own math just like your own crew room.

Having said that, love j/s on the bus, hated flying it. As a new guy/gal, you only have to learn one airplane.

On the 75/76 there are differences and I'm not sure these are all
757 RR classic
757 RR LDS
757 PW classic
757 PW LDS
767 LDS winglet
767 classic winglet
767 LDS non-winglet (maybe classic also)
767 JAL
767 dry lease

I think the point is that the Bus isn't scheduled to fly as far... doesn't really matter much since the schedule is relatively full for all of us. Each platform has it's advantages/disadvantages, really just depends on what you are looking for.

Also different wx radars, sunshades, powerplugs, many 767 tail # effectivity notams but still great airplanes.
