Sounds like we might be in the pool for a significant amount of time. Well, looks like I’m gonna have to go the pax route now.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone put off applying to other top tier jobs to hold out for this one. That said, if UPS is where you want to be, keep your app updated every year. If UPS calls after you’re a 350 captain at Delta, the decision will be easy. The sooner the call, the more interesting the choice.

This BS with the trade denial been going on since 2008. The union isn't doing diddly squat about it. How is trading the backseat to the right seat of the same flight/same trip create insufficient reserve situation again?

union for some reason decided they're not fighting this one.

It was their top priority for a potential midterm a few years ago. Unfortunately many pilots didn’t get the memo to do one persons job. Wonder how much open time you picked up during that stretch?

We’ll just agree to disagree. I’ve flown with several former EB members and the amount of work that goes into that job is astronomical. That isn’t even considering the things they didn’t tell me about.

You’re just throwing out pot shots with no context or backing to rile people up. A level of maturity is needed and far more effective if you have a gripe. A little maturity is needed for anyone to take you seriously.

Have a good one.

I will definitely agree they are not fighting this hard enough, and it impacts us tremendously on a daily level.

To be fair, everyone was giving the responsibility to one base while others got to feed at the trough as much as they liked. If you want improvements for all, then all should have done the work of one.
