What do you guys think of somebody with around 5000, Bachelors in Flight Science, plenty of international experience, Airbus and 747 ratings but alas no PIC, getting an interview?

1000 TPIC is a minimum requirement.

thanx guys!
and when hired should somebody with 747 type rating count on getting awarded 747? Though my logic tells me that would be fairly senior equipment :/

Just because you say it, doesn't make it true. Does your son fly a caravan or something? It's 1000 multi only if it's a turboprop.

1000 PIC single engine jet still works.

You probably would not get the 747. UPS tends to put people on different aircraft than their previous fleet so they don't bring, "we did it this way at brand X."

As far as fairly senior, everything pays the same so people just find their niche.

Swedish,

He doesn't fly the caravan, but he does fly something. How many single engine jet aircraft, currently flown, can you name?

Ya maybe that guy hadn't heard of the USAF or USMC

There's a ton of former F-16 and AV8B guys at FDX. Hired with 0 hours of PIC multi turbine.
