Not at all! My good friend and one who recommended me was furloughed back then... but I feel he has moved on, and so should I. I am of course weary and will, like all, be on my toes for as long as we have this set up but, again, I feel we must move on, fresh contract, fresh start...!??

Rumor is another Class prior to this Peak. Hopefully the 21 number or greater. Aug. or Sept. And they have Hired during Nov. and Dec. in the past, so them not Hiring and training during Peak is not accurate. FYI.

There is an 8 Aug class that should be 21 people; another class in late Aug or early September (or more classes through the fall) would certainly be nice...
As for LORs...I think they help quite a bit in getting the initial contact from the company. As mentioned though, a job fair can accomplish a similar thing by meeting the HR folks personally.

Absolutely, they love it. Pay guys 5 hours a day for each vacation day, guys opt in and most will sell their vacation back at a tune of 70 credit hours per month. So much for that one level of safety. I can hear the argument now, your fighting for one level of safety cause your guys are tired, being beat up by our fatigued schedules but xx percent of your guys sold back their vacation and chose to work. Talk about being counter productive! And smart guys like you think they are going to hire cause of all this extra flying! Come at me next time having done for homework!

Good call, UPS publically announced 63. From what I understand, there have been 2 classes of 21. That should leave one more for August. My UPS buddies are telling me that they expect more after/if the TA passes. I don't know where they are getting their information.
