Sounds like you feel the IPA is lying to you about the NMB. Just curious...When you are sitting at the negotiating table next time for us what pray tell are you going to be demanding from UPS? I really think that BT and the rest of the union leadership got as much as they could. I'm disappointed we don't have as much control over schedule adjustments and the retirement FAE/FD is a bit foggy for my final flight. Those are my sore points but this TA is a lot better than what we have now. Vote NO if you must but please tell me what is your plan beyond that? The Citadel educated you. You're a smart guy. What is the plan Captain? I'm listening...

The T/A is a lot better? What am I missing? No raise is better? No real scheduling improvements is better? I could go on. 5 years for the first low ball offer? Not buying it.

First lowball offer.....? Who's gunna be around to negotiate the second? All you no guys are so f'in smart until we ask: what's the plan, whose gunna lead, how are you going to fix the dead weight within the rank and file when the current EB has been trying for 5+ years? Instead of a well thought out, decisive agenda you guys sit there in silence looking like a bunch of spoiled children piszed off because you didn't get the big toy for Christmas.

We all know the body of the TA is weak. The pilot group wanted retirement addressed and it was in a big way. Next time put QOL at the top of your list.

Retirement too is a mess. In 2021 1200 a month for health care and setting the precedence now that NO Cost of living adjustment to those that have already retired or retiring is complete BS. Huge implications next time around.

Don't waste your time FTFF. It's easy for some like Shaggy to rip apart the efforts of our EB from the peanut gallery. Crying into your pillow about every aspect of the TA and then whining about it here albeit without any plan moving forward is juvenile.

Butt hurt? You need to be more political like your buddy and temper your posts to your peers or the jockeying your doing for an board spot in the future will fall on its face.

Shaggy,

What other airline has cost of living adjustments for retirees?

Would your position be different if they came back with 280 an hour or 290? Would you still be saying how great this deal is? Just look at what we are giving them in terms of flexibility and efficiency try not to look at pay hikes. Just remain open and quit trying to sway peoples votes, let each person decide for themselves if the givebacks are worth it for the next ten years.

Sorry, what are we giving them in flexibility? 35% of reserve lines MAY be shiftable, that's your argument???? What about the small gains we got in duty time restrictions, call that a give back too?
