It's actually a boner rather than bonus

brownie,

How is the signing bonus (the same as last contract) a step backward? As far as the health care, it almost doubles (not quite) but it beats the alternative (ups wanted out of the health care business entirely). With the increases across the board, I think it will pass with upwards of 75%. Did it have everything I wanted? Hell no, but it fixes retirement gives a good pay raise and has some good scheduling improvements.

Default Signing bonus?

How much is the signing bonus? Is it for new hires?

Thanks SD

If I read the LOA correctly, there is no language prohibiting probationary crewmembers from receiving the signing bonus...but they will get a prorated amount based upon credited hours Jan 2013 through the end of the current pay period.

For us FedEx guys, can you post some highlights when you get them or a link to the TA? I'm rooting that it's a really good pay increase. Our contract, IMHO, was not very good, although others may differ.

What are your rates in this TA? How did your duty or trip rigs change?

Raptor, I am sure someone more savvy with picture posting will post the highlight slide. Its a step in the right direction and since I haven't read all of it yet, it looks close to yours in terms of pay but you guys enjoy much better work rules still, so in that sense its not the new benchmark I was looking for to raise the bar.
