Maybe for the domestic guys flying turn lines.

No change for the international bubbas. I don't see anyone being able to jam a 12-14 day trip into their schedule.

How about dropping a turn (ANC-ICN-ANC) to make your schedule more commutable?

OR picking the same trip up on your 15 days off???

This will be a big improvement for ALL the pilots.

Except A plan improvement only for those that will hit age 60 under this CBA. Have to renegotiate for it on next contract - i.e. that will be very expensive to put in next contract again, it is not the floor. The floor is 1% A plan - that's where negotiations start next time. If you're about 54 or over it's great. If you're under 54, there is no A plan improvement.

The flat dollar amount has always required renegotiating. It always expired with the contract.

Sorry, we'll just have to agree to disagree. Not ALL of us get stuffer trips in our schedule.

This usually happens around early fall for captains. When the IRS limit is reached UPS pilots become 12% cheaper to the company. It sucks.

So what's all the money that goes into your limits? 12% of $265,000 (IRS limit) is only $31,800 - add your $18,000 of self 401k deposit and you get $49,800 - still have $3200. Does it just mean you have to put any catch up 401K catch up funds in after-tax money or do you have other 401K money that goes in? Sick leave buy back or something?
