The fact is, today, there is 400 cans sitting idle in HKG that don't have airplanes or crews to move them, potential 10.4 billion dollar airplane deal, new 500 million Atlanta sort center, admitted 300 pilot shortage..... We could have made 100% of membership whole, wrote our own rates, and fixed all these issues we championed for the last ten years cause even UPS isn't dumb enough to turn their back on all this!
Don't listen to me, guys flying the line are *****ing already and some have buyers remorse, its going to be a long ten years until we have another crack at it, meanwhile Atlanta is laughing all the way to the bank. Next time we should spend less time being enamored with the pedigree of the so called experts but rather listen to the objections and read the whole contract carefully not just pay and benefits.

Perhaps UPS decided to hire 300 more pilots and are buying 14 747's because the contract negociations are behind us and they can plan for the future with a stable workforce..chicken before the egg kind of thing...I could be wrong, but I think they are somehow related
