I've asked and nobody I've talked to on reserve has gotten extended into a day off, yet. Unless you got data to demonstrate they are consistently doing it, I'm holding judgement for the time being.
LCO issue will require us to wait and see IF the company obliterates opentime, right now there is only speculation. Seeing as they are short staffed it is to their advantage having OT for guys pick up on their days off vs assigning it to LCO's and reserves.

I personally know two RSV FOs who have been extended into days off, and talked to another one night as he was extended into days off for the second time in two weeks. It was the last day of the bid period and the last day of his reserve block, and the company said technically the extension wouldn't happen until the new bid period so therefore it wasn't a violation of the "one extension per pay period" rule.
One upside to LCO is that the company can't make adhoc Hots for CA/CPs like they used to; now the extra Hots that Contingency wants for weather/volume/_______ have to go to a RSV or, when they are short reserves like they are right now in many seats, JA.

Yes, it is happening on a regular basis...consequence of a lack of staffing.

2. I like the sim support exclusion. That was the only type of callout I got when on CA and hated it as a commuter.

Extensions are more common than going home on your last day on the Z these days. It's happening to everyone. All the time. Short staffed and that fleet is getting hammered.

I asked him if he'd ever been based up north or looked at the open time especially during transition. He said no. At least he was honest but I told him it would get used all the time:
