LUS third listers
How do you guys feel about this? You know what the west committee thinks of you. Would you be happy letting the west committee represent you as one westie suggested?
It might be a idea to let your APA officers know you want your MB rights.

I try to stay informed on this stuff, but I must have missed this one. How does the west committee think of us?

Why can't the east committee represent the LUS third listers? Honest question.I know they walked away because they didn't want to advocate the Nic, but by doing so they left their third listers high and dry.

The West committee will get the third listers a far better deal in the integration with LAA then the East committee or USAPA ever could.
The fact that USAPA/East committee put 3rd listers ahead of West pilots with uninterrupted service from 2003 was never going to fly. The only reason 3rd listers have experienced the movement they have was the fact they were placed on the East and TA separate ops.
The third listers should be concerned that USAPA/East is playing games, but the West proposal takes care of them in a realistic way. News to the Easties here but the West has third listers too.

Keep throwing to see if anything might just stick? I really thought you were better than this.

R57,
There are a few of us 3Ls that actually did better on the West's proposal vs the East's. The West merger committee has no issue with 3L pilots, just as long as we are slotted in DOH after the pre-merger AWE & US Airways pilots. I seen no problem with that logic. When USAPA was running around, I sure didn't feel like they had our (3L pilots) best interest in mind. I know many of our captains are worried, but your civil war regarding the NIC does not concern us.

Time to move on. Everybody wants to tell me their heartbreaking story and justify their anger, yet nobody ever asked me the crap I went through.
Regarding the list, there is a approximately 200 number difference between East and West, and a 1700 number fifference between East and APA.
USAPA? Different name, same crap. Unions are unions, althogh I am VERY disappointed with APA, mainly because of the j/s issue and their $3600 dinner feast.
* this was my personal experience. I am not taking any sides.

Have you guys really looked at the west proposal? Have you looked at the LAA? Now think about the LAA if they have to put guys that don't bing a captain seat to this merger in the captain range.
