Time to move on. Everybody wants to tell me their heartbreaking story and justify their anger, yet nobody ever asked me the crap I went through.

Regarding the list, there is a approximately 200 number difference between East and West, and a 1700 number fifference between East and APA.

USAPA? Different name, same crap. Unions are unions, althogh I am VERY disappointed with APA, mainly because of the j/s issue and their $3600 dinner feast.

*You say this was your experience and it disappoints me greatly to hear. I have a good friend at Piedmont who commutes cross country who has J/S'ed and been given the cold shoulder by occasional West crews who thought he was East. Unless you were one of the USAPA ringleaders, I think there's no defendable reason to treat a fellow pilot with anything but courtesy and respect. I'm looking forward to putting the last 8 years behind me.

It is more than just a few bad apples.
If I didn't have friends out on the West, I would choose not to associated with the West based on some of the "treatment" I have received from them. Albeit, I have never had a bag of trash thrown at me but I did have some dude stare me down as I walked though the PHX terminal the other day, etc, etc.

Drizzle makes this stuff up. Ever wonder how all this happens and nobody ever gets called on the carpet for it? We see nothing in the read files, nothing coming down from the Chief Pilots office, nothing coming from HR. Up until the APA took over I was good friends with the West pilot involved with grievances and disciplinary proceedings (this pilot is also a licensed attorney) and asked him about these fables from Drizzle and Arado. Guess what- nohting EVER came across his desk. Nothing. Sure, a couple denied jump seats (from both sides), but nothing EVER resembling what Drizzle alleges. So, either the incidents didn't happen (or were just a tee bit, um, exaggerated and embellished and Drizzle, who is quite comfortable coming on an anonymous message board and launching unsubstantiated barbs at the west but was just too shaken and scared to say anyhting to his chief pilot and thus, these issues never made it to the proper channels. Or, Drizzile is nothing more than a pot-stirrer on this here anonymous message board. Sure is easy to hide behind an avatar and throw nebulous barbs at the west pilots, and perhaps a lot of fun too! Especially when you don't have to be accountable for your allegations because, again, this message board is ANONYMOUS. Pathetic.

That would have been hard not to laugh at... Just blow him a kiss when you walk by.

Okay I'll bite...how did the "dude" know your not a West pilot? I can't tell where 90% of the pilots walking around come from, less "the tie" folks. What is the give away your displaying. I've had a few evil eyes in PHX too, but also in CLT, PHL, DCA,....what the tell and how do you know the guy was West (unless of course he had the tie)

Let's just face the fact we have cornholios on both sides. I just try and be professional and nice to all of the pilots. Life's too short. Besides there are bigger worries than seniority, things like health and family concern me more........ well maybe politics Politics can get me pretty riled up.

I used to just hope that this would all get done on time, but if the company can't even get a FOS done until late next year, then whatever. Let's all file another round of lawsuits.
Anyone on property on both sides after 12/2014 is DOH. The list doesn't even have anyone on it after that. There are no Eagle guys flowing now with DOH's as part of their hood back agreement AFAIK. That was late 90's early 2000's.

Regardless, they were all born in the 50's and 60's. As are the current Eagle flows. Pretty much the only young guys on property were guys from the commuters who came to Airways rolling the dice. You'd be behind them anyway. Me too. Just how much behind them is at stake, personally I think it's bogus from a moral standpoint to put a 26 year old 2013 hire senior to a 55 year old 1998 hire but that is what the west and east lists do. Basically the 3rd listers are arguing from a west perspective at this point.

The west's list was always the way to go. It's the only fair way to do a seniority list. Age and Doh should have no meaning on a seniority list. If you were 90% before the merger you should be 90% after the merger. Having over a thousand people on furlough does that.

It's not surprising you and many 3rd listers feel that way. Placing furloughed guys on the bottom however is beyond morally wrong. Just IMO.

Tossing out DOH which is the very way our entire lives are written for us is crazy.

Although if that is done, it's quite possible a vast majority of those guys won't come back anyway. Most have been at other carriers for close to a decade, they're certainly not coming back to be junior to 1500 new hires. So in a way that does help the guys hired after 12/2014 as well.

This is such a cluster...
