I believe you, just wondering how that could happen if they didn't put you all behind all the west guys like the west list does. More punishing to the LAA guys?

Just out of curiousty - do you think you should be placed ahead of West FO's who were never furloughed and have older DOH's? Do you agree with USAPA's placement of you on the list?

Old men? Nice.
What exactly should they have told the 3rd lister? "You don't have a clue how this works, do you?"? Those guys are our APA reps. They were involved with USAPA, but are not reps there anymore. But even if they were, the USAPA reps wisely agreed to let the merger committee have free rein. MEC pressure helped bring the Nic debacle. IF we get a new merger committee, they need to be free from pressure from APA reps too, so what kind of answer were you all looking for? If we get one, take it up with them. USAPA reps saw the proposed east list at the same time, or just prior to the rest of us.
But hey, don't worry about it. You look great on the west list and that is certain to be adopted so no need for anyone to represent you, right? Don't worry about those 700 or so west pilots that are in the captain seniority range, but don't actually bring those seats to the merger. I'm sure the LAA guys don't care if that gives them super seniority. I'm sure it won't be the guys at the bottom of the LUS list that pay for that.
Good luck to us all.

Oh give me a break. USAPA "leaders" and now the APA "leaders" (because for some crazy reason, we keep electing the same people) have never given 2 ****s about 3rd Listers. We don't fit there grand scheme or demographic. Treatment ranges from never getting e-mails returned to "You're just an entitled junior pilot." comments stemming from a simple request that wouldn't be out of line in any other world. Knowing these guys are in charge of my future doesn't help me sleep at night.
And as for the fact the APA reps aren't party to this, please. You know as well as I do that they have an agenda they're looking for.

57,
I think the feeling would be different if simple questions or requests in the past were at least acknowledged by USAPA. We never received responses from emails or questions at any point about anything. I sent Emails and made phone calls. Zero response. I can't depend on my union for ANY help/suggestions/advice.

I truly believe you are better off without any east representation in this sli. You guys have a knack at infuriating arbs, I'm sure they are very impressed with your phl/clt reps letter laying out how they plan on getting around a federal injunction with a new committee.

I am with the company lawyer....how does any East committee get around the NIC ruling by the 9th? I think a lot of loyal USAPAist do not realize the magnitude of their ruling and are too brainwashed to realize it is not that easy to just change your name and the ruling doesn't apply. EX. ValueJet to AirTran....yeah AirTran still had to pay the families after the "ValueJet 592" crash. Pretty sure if the AA lawyer can see through it.....so will Judge Silver. It not going to be that easy.
"We are the USAPA Merger Committee"
Edit
"We are now the "East" Merger Committee (but we are the same reps with the same proposal as USAPA Merger Committee)...rulings by the second highest court in America don't apply to us...
Bull💩

Well isn't AASIC separate from APA?

Can't speak for PilotX, but I don't know any 'Third-Listers' that think they belong anywhere other than DOH with all the other third listers- both east, west and AA, at the bottom of the list. The only thing even remotely up for debate is where the Eagle flows fit in with them.
