I was actually raised to stand up for what's right.

Which doesn't mean just let people walk all over you, especially if they are overreaching.

It does mean a good deal is a good deal for both parties.

And I was acquired, and proud of it.

Same question here. He says he drives light twins somewhere. And he speaks in scattered prose. So who knows.

The first new hire class was 12/3/13, so there was only a handful of off the street hires.
Calling them flows in now derogatory?

Wasn't it called a "Flow Through Agreement" back in the day between AA and AE?

The term "Flows" seems to fit.

He was talking about anyone hired after the merge/snapshot, as he and I were. No one hired after the snapshot is on the proposed SLIs, right? And I'm pretty sure all Eagle flows who came over after that were never officially withheld, just unfortunately delayed for a decade; never had a class date = no accrued seniority. So....apples and oranges.

You guys can argue the third listers and above all day long - I'm staying outta that. Knew it was a mistake to even look at this thread, much less comment. Have fun!

Sure. And the Eagle interview was harder than the LUS interview, by far!

A 2013 LUS hire is mixed in with 1998 DOH with LAA on the east/west proposals, it's almost funny, the 3rd listers are fighting against their CA's in logical ordering of the lists.

Personally, I think the long term LUS guys are f'ed, I do feel for them.

Whether or not the several hundred LUS 3rd listers are placed behind the 1000 or so AA guys with 98-00 hire dates, you're still going to have an awesome career. Those guys have about 10-15 years left on them (at most) and they will be retiring en mass as well.

You make it sound like 10-15 years is no big deal. For many 3rd listers, thats more than half of their remaining career. For some, thats all they have left. In an industry this volatile, 10-15 years is an eternity.

Only group overreaching is APA.
