If I were to get hired there within the next year it would be at a minimum $1 million more in career earnings than where I'm at now.

73 type
Could someone name the various places to purchase a 737 type rating. Additionally, with each place the cost, time involved, etc.
In addition to the other listed places there is also SimCenter of Miami, FL, website: http://simcenter.cc What I can tell you is they offer the 300/400/500 series for roughly $8000, and the 800 series is roughly $11k if you bring a sim partner or can wait for them to pair you with someone who comes along as you are which can sometimes be a month or so. If you can't wait it will bump your price up to $14k if I'm not mistaken. Time is like the others about a month, and they will try to help you find cheap housing. I am looking for a CRJ type myself which is offered at a very affordable price of 12.5k at CAE's Denver facility if you bring your own sim partner. Otherwise it's 18k. I am actually looking for a sim partner. If you are heading for the regionals please let me know if you are interested with your email address or IM id. tks

Pan Am in MIA can get you a type and include lodging at a great price. PM me for details or email .

Simmer Down, Gasser
His simplistic search won't find any prices with some of the bigger companies, Spanky. Perhaps a more beneficial bit of advice would be that a lot of SWA guys get theirs at Hire Power and K&S Aviation. They are both approx $7k.

Utah, do you mind me asking what it is that you are waiting for? More PIC? What did you fly in the military?
