And the Global pilots fly both types interchangeably? Are they both Vision equipped?

Does anybody know how many applications are on file? What are the competitive numbers for 121 guys?

At NetJets if you meet the minimums your meet the minimums. I don't know how many applications are on file. It is my guess that when the phenom and Challenger 350 programs have two sims up and running there will be training capacity for new hires. As of now the new hires will be going into the phenom, sovereign and the XL. (The XL will not last long as they are being retired)

What can I say about it.... the 650 is a 604 with a pretty interior and avionics.

I flew the CRJ nearly 20 years ago and other than a handful of the newer planes in the fleet with the "Gucci leather" interior, it's the same 20+ year old cockpit!

The avionics is the ProLine 21 system. The whole "Vision" moniker has more to do with the pretty interior (cosmetics) than the electronics. Whatever they're calling it now, it's still a core ProLine 21 system.

The weather radar is the best I've ever used in my career... That thing it's wicked awesome!!!!

Not sure what the future plans are for this plane beyond the initial order of 25 .... Keep getting "mixed messages" from HQ...

I've been happy with it so far....

The 350 is a far better airplane. Love that Multiscan radar, and we go right up to FL450 without stopping at .80 with 8 folks and some gas. Best of all.....no FA. I window shopped both the 650 and 350 and went with the 350....that 650 with the ADG handle was enough to convince me.

That's the trolling motor.

Default Anyone getting called?

Is anyone getting called or offered interview dates? It's been pretty quiet here.

There was no October new hire class. I was told 2 days ago the November new hire class is canceled. No news on a December class yet.

Rumor is most all the new hires have 91 or 135 time. All 121 time is seen as a negative or not the right fit.

Had a successful interview this month. Was sent an email the next day saying I am in the candidate pool but to be patient because it "could take many months" to hear back with an offer. Was also asked to complete a FIT test for the Phenom, most signs point to that for new hires. I had internal references and am 135 current. Hope to hear something sooner than later!

Congratulation on the successful interview. I hope your class date comes quickly.
