I am pretty sure half of the class was for the Phenom. This was the first class that was really able to get some new hires that didn't fit in the Phenom, into other fleets. My buddy has been waiting 7 months for a class because he is too tall.

There is nothing in the contract (new or old) stopping the company from placing newhires into the Latitude. Only an informal "handshake" agreement to not do it for "a while"
The Sept class was 3 Sovereigns, 4 Encore+s, 3 XLs, and 5 Phenom. Most of those guys don't have FSI dates until November

Don't even have to look it up. It talks about a lower and higher pay scale for FOs but we both know that doesn't exist even if MP says the interpretive transcripts say otherwise. Even if there was two payscales the latitude would fall in the lower payscale and that would make it compliant for the company to place newhires in that aircraft without putting out a bid. I'm ready for my displacement to the Phenom

You really should look at the contract. Newhires are not to be placed into new fleets, which are defined elsewhere in the contract. Will it be in effect for a long time with the Latitude, not really as we are accepting deliveries very quickly. But there is concrete language regarding newhires and new fleets.

Not currently. Pilots have had the option to enroll in the past. Since it is a productivity tool for scheduling, the union will not endorse or participate in the program unless the company pays for it as an appropriate business expense in perpetuity. There was a small one-time reimbursement available at one point.
