Interviews coming up
Just spoke with the Chief Pilot, interviews at Hageland are some time in the next few weeks. Sounds like they're considering all positions. PIC & SIC positions open. They just bought a couple more new C208EX's and probably need to fill those spots plus a few Navajo spots. Might be worth a look.

I have a teleconference interview with Hageland next week. Anyone know what to expect? Maybe a gouge? As you know, there isn't a whole lot of info on them since they merged. I cant even find if they do any IFR ops in the 207 /208

If you have less than 1000 hours TT, maybe even 750 hours TT they will put you as 208 co pilot (SIC). If you have a multi rating then you wait for a 1900 SIC slot to open up. From there you get put into the Cessna 207 at 1000 hours TT (maybe 750 as of this last week).
Pay:
208 SIC: 100 dollars a day
1900 SIC: 175 dollars a day
207 PIC: 230(?) a day for X days then I think it goes up to 260. I can't remember what a 207 pilot said about it, but it does go up to around 230 dollars a day.
Its nice working up in Alaska, really good flight experience getting real Alaska IFR experience, some days shooting several approaches, some days enjoying the perfect VFR weather. Its valuable experience and has definitely made me a better pilot. At least a 1/4 of the pilots are from out of state, some from out of the country too. A couple are natives who live in the village and the rest live in Anchorage or Fairbanks.

Hey guys, I'm loving the idea of flying in Alaska, for a long time now.
Only "fear" I have is logging those C208 SIC hours, and I remember reading about it couple of years ago, but can't find it anymore.
Some guys said that wasn't legal, since it was single pilot operation, or at least certified for one pilot.....and then other guys said the ooposite.
Can someone clarify this for me?. At the end of the day I'm assuming this is 100% regulations, no room for interpretation. So any idea on the topic?
Thanks for your help!

New Ravn Pay Package!!
Ravn just gave their entire pilot group some huge raises! 75 hour gar. & 15k per year retention bonuses. Dash SIC start at 60k base + benefits! Caravan PIC base pay around 75k for two on two off!
Looks like the bar has been raised a long way! Hageland is hiring PIC's in the 207, Van, and Navajo.
I think Corvus is interviewing next week.
