Training...
Did any one here who finished training recently feel that it was like drinking out of a fire hose?! I guess it's been a while since I've been a "new hire"...and with some of the instructors being brand spanking new...makes it a bit more of a challenge.

What aircraft and what's your background? I found training to be pretty straight forward compared to other airlines I've worked at.

Just as with any training program, I would think JetBlue's is just like the rest. i would imagine some in your class will have some info to share so talk with them. Most programs with any airline aren't really designed for you to fail, but to succeed as long as you do what is required. Don't sweat it, and be sure to take a personal day here and there on your days off to take a deep breath and you'll be fine. Have fun.

I found the JetBlue training pretty darn good.
It did always seem busy and many of the instructors did not believe in breaks. Theres a lot to teach in each lesson and some of it really seemed like an extra lesson would be good. The material seemed much more thorough than the airline I was at before (even though that airline wanted you to build the plane). The training and testing is not hard. Its very straightforward and if you study hard, and like someone said, chair fly some, I think anyone could do just fine. I guess my only complaint would be that theres some inconsistencies between some instructors which lead to some confusion in later lessons.
