A couple of questions for those that have been through the GA Ops checkride:
1. I have not flown a Seminole/light twin in a very long time (been flying corporate for the last 10+ years). Can someone recommend where to get some experience in one before the checkride?
2. What airport is the checkride conducted out of?
Thanks in advance!

Referred = Your name is on a list of qualified candidates that the Selecting Official (usually the office Manager) gets. Unknown how long or short the list is...
Reviewed = This means that HR has done a cursory review of your App. In my experience, this is not a good thing. It typically means that you don't meet all requirements of have not filled out the App in such a way that shows you are qualified for the position.
Received= Your App has been submitted successfully and you are in a holding pattern (with no EFC time, LOL ) for one of the above answers from HR.

Reviewed- Likely SOL. Don't meet some requirement somewhere.
Received- the first thing you know after application. Won't change until job closes, unless it is a long term posting.

I've looked over this forum from top to bottom. Especially over the last year, it appears those referred are either still waiting to hear or receiving letters about a week after being referred. It's a patient's game and I understand that, but would it be realistic to think a phone call (if it's going to happen) within a few weeks of getting referred?

I would be really curious as to the ratio of those referred to an office and their chances (obviously based on the ratio of veterans pref points). A faith game & the test is in progress

If the one that is "Reviewed" has closed you can click the link and find out if you were found not qualified. Open the announcement and contact the HR POC for more details. One can ask for a second opinion, relook, but that usually yields the same results. Good luck.

Question, I have read on this forum that if you are going to get called for an interview they will 'mail' you a letter. Is this via snail mail or email, just curious. Also the opening mentioned above does not close until September, should I go in and reapply and 'massage' my KSA's?
