Has anyone heard anything on interviews for the ACO positions in Irving? I was recently 'referred' and was wondering if I missed the window.

Cheers,

It's interview time! Can anybody provide updated and recent gouge information? Previous threads over the last 12 months have shown basic HR questions. Your thoughts are appreciated!

Things don't change much in the gov't interview world.
I'd wager that if you prepared for the interview using what information you have gleamed on APC threads pertaining to the subject that you would be well prepared.

HR Interview questions come out of that big black dust covered book that witches keep in the attic.

^^^^^^ What he said....When I did my FTF back in the summer of 12', I didn't prepare really at all. I don't believe there's anything you can prepare for. I had 3 guys, all managers and they cannot deviate from the script that they have. They will gladly repeat the question, but they can't elaborate on it. They'll take notes the entire time, but other then that, it should last 15-20 minutes and very low key. Very basic Q&A, basic HR stuff, talk a bit about your background etc.

Think about the KSAs, because my questions we based on those. No technical questions for first interview.

^^^ This is good advice^^^^

Also, recommend reading 14 CFR Part 5 and AC 120-92B, Safety Management Systems

I would put money on at least one general question about SMS. It is mandatory for 121 in less than 3 years.

While you are at it, read John's performance values.

Interdependence, consistency, critical thinking.

If they are not asked, work them into an answer.

Ok here i go again, just received another notification that i have once again been referred in the NJ region. Is it normal for someone to be referred three separate times for the same job posting?

BTW any information on the Irving ACO operation as far as future interviews? Or even the Teterboro 1825 job that was posted?
