I think you need a space after the //. Not sure if that matters though.

Ya, I was going to say the same thing. You can also get royally screwed if you enter your bid too early, I always wait until the second day of the SAW to enter my window preferences...

That's what I was going to say. I have to look at the bid packet every time as my short term memory doesn't serve me well.

It's supposed to be <space> // then your bid, and yes during the saw which opens at noon the day after the awards. So, yea two days after you would be safe. I keep the bidding guide they gave us on the training day after IOE in my bag. It has that info in there. Kind of sucks, one mistype and your whole schedule can be messed up. Although, the first time I started to bid to fly they gave me a variety of windows instead of my usual A5, is this the case?

Also, someone I know, told me he liked the early readies, they never called him and he just slept through them!

There is a bidding guide in PDF format on EPIC. Just type in "bidding guide" in the search window and it is the SLIC, which is the third one (last one) down. Here is the link which you can try after logging in to epic which I think will work.

Evidently nobody is having problems with EPIC? Must be my POS computer agian. Although I used somebody's brand new computer and it does the same thing. I log in and it comes up with the banner of My Comair, My Job, yada yada, but then doesn't load anything else up. I hate computers!

Thats cause I was on there and my mighty POS windows computer was sucking all the bandwidth out of the Comair server.

I tried that once, was told you can't have windows as a standing bid. Only works for days of reserve.

Haha, nice. This computer is King of all POS! If the wind blows a little it goes down. I think they use this exact model for ATC purposes on the east coast.
