That surprises me, why is that? Is it because no jets? If so, that would be an interesting topic in itself.

Guys, I need some honest input. I know Silver isnt the cream of the crop, but recent events have me in search of a new job. I need something that has the POTENTIAL to keep me close to home(FL area) and Silver is about the closest to guaranteeing that. How long will an FO be on reserve? How many days off per month? How many credit hours per month? Are trips commutable at all? Is it easy for a Silver guy to get a JS on a Silver plane? I really appreciate the help

Where in FL? Envoy has a Miami base, which, if you're in southern FL is an option, despite all of the crap going on there.

Yea I'm sorta in the same boat. No prior 121 but I live in JAX and I'd like to avoid an awful commute if possible. That's why I was asking about the GNV base. I could drive and make that work.

So can anyone tell me if Silver uses their application section on the Silver website to offer jobs or is airlineapps the only way to officially apply. I'm in the process of finishing up my airlineapps profile, but the other night I noticed Silver had a spot on their jobs section to input your hours, experience, attach a resume, etc. and was wondering if they use this to hire people? Thanks!

Cool. I filled out the quick online application anyways, but will obviously submit my airlineapps one as well.

So can anyone tell me what the cost of health insurance is at Silver for a single person, family of 2, or family of 3? Also what insurance company does Silver use?

Theres a few options here but I'll sum it up like this:

Okay

Insanely expensive

You might as well become a gigolo on the side

(If you're married and have kids you'll want to use they wifey's plan)
