Sounds like you know a bit about the checkride, care to share more?

Both the safety and acceptance checklists are accomplishing crewmember checklists which can be done by either pilot. Both should have an understanding of it.

Jepp charts, metal/tafs, approach plates, sids/stars, basic ifr rules. You’ll be fine if you put in a little bit of studying prior to interview. If you get a few things wrong, just use it as a learning opportunity. I did and was offered the job. They don’t expect you to know everything if you’re not coming from a 121 environment. Don’t stress about it, have fun!

Thank you! Any suggestion on studying the CRJ200 prior to getting there?

Don’t attempt to study ahead. You will end up having to learn things again.

They give you an information sheet to study before your interview. Just study that.

Then a small break before CPT. Things are changing with how they are doing CPT, and they are having folks observe before getting thrown into CPT and sims. Not sure what the time line for this is.
So most of this has changed, CPP is now done offsite at either CAR Phoenix or Dallas. Seniority doesn’t start till after CPP.
Systems and Indoc are held in the airport basement then there is about a 2 month gap before cpt. They won’t tell you about this gap buts it’s there now, be wary of it

Just a few minor corrections, cTp is done off site and the gap between systems and cPt is down to about 3 weeks. Just had a new hire in the jumpseat observing that confirmed this. He starts CPT today.

Must be something changed cause I know several people in classes from the January 20 and January 6 class that haven’t started cpt, maybe they are doing it out of seniority or class order. Or maybe he was just going to observations.

Then I'm not sure. This is what I was told. I'm not sure if Appleton knows what goes on in Appleton.
