Indoc was Charlie (last name forgotten, currently at Delta), Systems was Chris T. I believe he left for a year or so and ultimately came back. Great instructors (and good dudes), both.

If you were really feeling bold, you could go to the mall and drink beers at the brewery there... Most excellent IPAs, if I recall. I believe it was Fox River Brewing Co. Still have that t-shirt somewhere.

How long did it take from completion of the background check by Accurate until you heard back from the company? Drug test after that? Then wait for class date?

If you have a 9/1 class date does that mean you go to ATP-CTP on 9/1 and then Indoc after that or ATP-CTP before 9/1?

9/1 would be your start in ATW, and probably get sent to ATP-CTP end of day 1 pictures or day 2 ish?

They’re actually sending people straight to ATP-CTP before ever going to Appleton. If you have a start date of 9/1, you can expect to start ATP-CTP the week of 9/2 and go straight from there to an indoc class starting 9/16.

I got my email with more information two weeks prior to my start date (I think when they send it is based on your start date rather than when your background check is done). You can always log into the Accurate site to check on the status, though.

I'm not sure that's correct, RabidW0mbat...I have 1 Sep start at ATW and already have my ATP. I think folks that need ATP-CTP have to start before then to knock that out. The original post by IDriveJets said, "Arrived in Phoenix for ATP/CTP training at CAE"...seems like that needs to happen before showing up at ATW.

It depends on a bunch of things but sometimes they send people directly to the contract ATPCTP site before Appleton, and sometimes people go to Appleton first for a few days to a week. Either way you will have your atp-written before day one of actual indoc. Also they start classes every 2 weeks(both indoc and cpt) so someone that needs atp-cpt will start that on the 2nd of September at the same time an indoc class starts on September 2. Your actual pilot seniority starts at the beginning of indoc but your pay starts on whatever day you travel to your first work event. (September 1)

Very possible. The training dept is very dynamic right now as far as how things are going. Heck I went through last year when all ATP-CTP was done in house and in the same sims with AW instructors. This contracted thing I have no experience with.

Copy all, thanks for clarifying. Follow-up question: how long does Indoc last? I think I read 5 weeks in another post but can't seem to find it now.

2 weeks for Indoc.
2 weeks for Systems

-break-

5 days CPT

-break-

10-13 sim sessions (with no additional training required)

-break-

2-? Trips of IOE

Breaks vary in length and I do not have any idea what they are right now.
