It should make you really nervous OO management won’t touch 200 contracts anymore, which btw does nothing but print money for them, but they know something…

As I recall, it was Delta who chose not renew their 200 contract, so don't act like your company doesn't have huge exposure to the changing marketplace as well.

Now, maybe we should add more categories, fair enough, but my comment wasn't about that. It was about being good at what we do.

This contract was signed less than 2 weeks ago, so clearly you’re not informed on what’s going on around the industry. AW flies the oldest UA 200’s of any contract carrier. That’s not good for you buddy.

Are you being serious? Why would Delta renew 10 year contracts for aircrafts they’re retiring in a few years?

I'm not saying I wouldn't like different airplanes, but again, if you'd read what I had been saying, we are very competitive in our category. We could be competitive in others as well.

It's not very good for you either. Sure more 175s, replacing a/c you already fly (900s) is net zero flying. Also, say what you will but you lost their 200 flying and gained nothing else for Delta. Nearly a thitd of your operation is facing the same survival problem as us. You're almost certainly going to be a smaller airline with the loss of that flying.

OO will be a net positive of >1700 pilots by the end of 2022.
It is unfortunate, but you’re “category” is already slated to disappear.
We’re reading what you’re saying, so try reading what everyone else is saying…..
AW a single customer contract (UA only) for a customer that has explicitly said that your aircraft is going to disappear soon.
JFK said it best, “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.”
