I think it’s all last minute adds by United, most of them are overnight turns. When they first dropped they had no crew attached. In March it was a different scenario as people’s trips were being modified with large sits and flights disappearing, that’s not happening now.

I spoke too soon earlier. Stuff is getting canceled on my pairings. Very large sits. 8 hours in one case. Flights are disappearing again. I wonder if scheduling will inform us of the changes to our pairings. I don’t think they’ve notified me of a change to a pairing once this year.

Are the flights being canceled due to low demand or because AWALLC can’t staff them? Neither reason is good but there would be no excuse for not having the staffing.

United is reducing their schedules for December and January due to lack of demand. This is across their entire network.
