Why would a carrier give up their KCM status? So, what now? You get in line with everyone else?

Your CHQ buddy must be imaginary as RAH does participate in KCM. Used it this morning.

You go through security just like you would at any "non-KCM" airport. Not a big deal. Don't have it at my carrier and often time beat other guys through who use the KCM line. Unless it was at the BFE airports I fly to, then I'd only use it 1-2 times a month maybe. I could see it as a big benefit to someone commuting ORD/ATL ETC.

Doesn't do my group a ton of good when our most exotic destinations usually consist of 6-10 gate airports. Either way it'd be nice to have.... But I can live without it too.

Well excuse me, man! Haha he told me CHQ guys were getting rejected at LGA last week.

Don't hurt me, I'm just a dumb little 50 seat pilot..

Don't worry, you'll be flying the mainline 175 one day son.

You're the one with the chip on your shoulder. And CHQ flies 50 seaters too.

The reason RAH got denied that day is because apparently it was our day to go through security, it's part of the program to serve as a deterrent for people not to bring what they aren't supposed to.... But who knows that TSA supervisor in Indy was probably BSing us. They love to make flight crews suffer with their power trips.
