Just had 8-9 FOs quit in the last week...all headed to non-majors either lateral, LCC or corporate.

It's the time to do it. Junior manning and extensions are going to get brutal for FOs. With no chance of an upgrade anytime soon.

Would be a nightmare with seniority and flow number. Don't see it happening.

I've been called 4 times in the last 24 hours asking to come in since they are junior manning. Staffing must be atrocious. My friend who's been on reserve for over 15 monthes in lga as an Fo said has had enough and applied elsewhere today. If I did to have to commute I would have too with him

I don't think so either. Latest I heard was that AAG may offer pay equivalent to what year pay the pilot was at with AWAC. All mostly speculation at this point I'm sure though.

I wouldn't read too much into any of it though. AA is going to need all the regional lift it can get.

AAG is having a hell of a time merging their mainline pilot groups sucessfully, it'd be another mess for them to merge their WOs... It's just going to be easier to buy out the AWAC owners who would be foolish if they aren't looking at the industry and preparing their exit strategy.

With an old Fleet and Senior airline with no new contract I don't see Parker wanting to acquire them. They need the pilots so basically shrink them and get their pilots to join PDT with the Carrot of going right into the Left Seat with a flow. I can see many going for it. I probably would if I was an FO.

Care to share a screenshot of the announcement ?
