So is that the average 20 year history Steve? I'm pretty sure when you got hired for the job it said 75 hours credit per month. Which at the end of the day if above average, even at mainline. If you live your life based on more than that, you have my condolences.

Dammit Carl, don't you understand the difference between a salary and a minimum?

Do you honestly think AW is assigning captains 4 day trips with 15 block hours and 4 hour sits in CLT to make their lives easier? Silly Carl...

Cutting everyone back to minimum guarantee is not acceptable. For the average captain, you are taking about $800 a month out of their bank accounts.
You chose a career and knew what the pay was when you took it, if you took a job at a bank you would prob never get overtime. You have been lucky to have it, be glad you work at an airline that pays 75 guarantee, there are several that don't. Guarantee is just that , you aren't promised anything more, you haven't taken a pay CUT you have been lucky to make over the guarantee. If there was a promise of more then guarantee would be 100 hours.
If you were at a major you would be making more per hour, so staying at a regional is a pay cut too?

Premium pay was also part of the contract for the place I chose to work, meaning I also chose that place because I could make more than guarantee.

So they guarantee the premium over and above? That is a great airline!!
Most call a guarantee, the only thing they promise.

They do, yes, premium is over and above guarantee. It's in the CBA

I understand that, but you claim it's owed to you, in other words because you have had it in the past it is your right to continue to receive more than guarantee.
Then these airline should stop advertising guarantee, because by your logic they are actually supposed to be paying you much more.
I like this line of thinking, I think I will apply it to my tax refunds , they should go up every year.

Probably the stupidest attempt at a comparison I've ever seen.
