I'm in a similar boat...applied last Sunday..2100 TT 866 tpic 1030 pic mil IP and haven't heard a peep. even had an internal talk to the chief pilot. on the other hand, I applied at compass the same day and heard back the next day inviting me for an interview...so I dont really know what they are looking for.

AWAC...like all the carriers are hiring but I don't know what the recruiter's process is or how many applications they are sifting through. I do know that we have a class starting basically every two weeks with occasional breaks due to scheduling.

It appears you are qualified but in addition to inviting new applicants the recruiters are also chasing paperwork on those that are hired, traveling to interview sites for day long sessions etc.

I hope they call, I would follow up with the chief pilot again if you don't hear from them in a few days. Hope to see you on the line.

Wish I had a crystal ball for Air Wisconsin! It looks like a very good company to work for but I want to know its future past 2015.

The only good positive is that AWAC always seems to find a way to survive.

They may be able to survive. It just depends on how greedy the owners are. I would say if they can be happy with less profits they should be fine. American/Airways is going to find the cheapest lift, and that may mean restructuring union contracts. Who knows?

People not finishing in the 10 session sim footprint, what is awac's policy in giving you extra training?
