I wonder if the conversation with a union rep is considered privileged, or if he can deposed?

However, where were they between 7:00pm and 10:30pm? It's simply labeled *** in the court docket.
Those manager receptions usually migrate over to the regular bar/lounge after the free taps are turned off. I would imagine the company has explored all this.

Going2Baja,

The Canadian Forces had a full Colonel who was found out to have murdered two women and eventually found guilty of murder and 88 counts of other heinous crimes including home invasions. I asked my Boss at the time of his trial what if he knew the Colonel. Yes, he was a student of mine in pilot training and officer with me in the VIP squadron. I’ll believe anything about some one now.

Point being, people are very good at hiding some real evil in their lives. Just flying trips with someone tells you nothing about them, if they want to keep it hidden.

Look up Russell Williams.

A little off topic, but why did the FA call the company? Were they in violation of 10 hrs? Are the FA's now trained to recognize intoxication from down the hall? WTF

Is this how ALK FA's operate, calling the company on the pilots on overnights? Please let me know so I can make sure NOT to invite them out for a crew beverage on overnights.

The flight attendant called the company because the woman the captain was with appeared to be at risk

Then why not call the police?

Well in this case the FA's intuition was probably correct that something was amiss... we just don't know what. Obviously traditional crew etiquette would be to ask the person to call in sick, but maybe this was so weird the FA was afraid to confront him.

Why didn't they call hotel security? I would think most reasonable people who saw someone who they felt was in physical danger would do more than just call the company. Unless the story has evolved since that time. What was the FODO told that night? I've read what the lawyers say he was told. I'm betting there is a recording of that call somewhere.

We don't exactly know what the contents of the call were, that information, "at risk", was something the FO said in the Seattle times interview. It is detail they left out of the court docket. We don't know yet, as there hasn't been any information put out by Alaska.
