Instead, she shows back up, finds out that the person with whom she had the incident and a person she vaguely knows is still employed and gives them a month to terminate him before filing suit. That doesn't sound an evil person just out to get a guy because he didn't want to date her or he she was infatuated by him so much she seduced him. Newsflash, that doesn't actually happen in real life. That sounds like the behavior of someone who was assaulted only to find out the person who assaulted her is still employed even after all of the awful details come to light.
Actually she got drunk with the captain into her rest time and is trying to save her behind......and get her metoo paycheck while she is at it.

You’re kiddin’, right? She got six months time off—paid. For drinking in the window? Really, on probation they gave her a reward for doing so?

You might be surprised if you were the proverbial fly on the wall at a social gathering that only involved their close friends.

My wife and her friends make ME blush; and they are all college educated professionals.

Men are justifiably considered pigs for talking like frat boys but please, let's not ignore that fact that women can be, and often are, far worse. The difference is that while men are censured and ostracized for their sexist behavior, women are often encouraged, even applauded for it. If what's being put out by entertainment and media isn't enough, hang out with a group of FAs on an overnight and listen for yourself. Better yet, watch a group of women at a batchelorette party.

Although convenient, males aren't the only bad actors.
I've never heard a female pilot talk like, ever. I'm not saying women don't use vulgar language, but I rarely ever hear one do it in public outside of a circle of very close friends

This.

Anyone with half a brain after getting a 6 mo PAID leave for violating substance rules while on probation would lay low for awhile, if it were only that. They'd be thankful, even. This is not that scenario

Seriously? Your comments throwing this guy under the bus without even hearing his side or the company's side of it are just as disgusting as those who would accuse the FO of lying to get a payday without any evidence.

At this point you can't say for sure one way or the other, and calling those who say you can't say one way or the other at this point "victim shaming" is absurd.

Wait, you 'guarantee'...that I have never heard a female pilot make crass, vulgar, sexist remarks? Bold statement! Any other guarantees?

News flash: it happens. I've heard it from both, many times. I tend to lighten things up so maybe I invite a more relaxed setting but yes, happens more than you appear to believe.

No innocent groups. Women, of all professions and walks of life can be as guilty as men. Like men, there are those who act like professionals and those who don't.

According to the company's lawyer in the article, she was in video struggling to not go into his room for 20 minutes. Combine that with him not only cheating on his wife and kids, but sleeping with a subordinate, there really isn't much room to hear his opinion. Any guy who cheats on his wife deserves public shaming. That's a much nicer proposition than what my wife says should happen to a man cheating on his wife.

So yes, you are victim shaming.

"Female pilots don't do that!!!"
LMAO. Thanks man. Made my day.

Actually, from the females I knew at my last (small) airline, I would contend the opposite may be true; women pilots were actually worse there than the men. One contributing factor was that it was a small, highly cohesive pilot group so people loosened up and got to really know each other.

Whatever the case, please, enough with the laughable sanctity clause and righteous exclusions for a particular sex or profession. People are people. We come in all colors, shapes, sizes and yes, behaviors. There are no all/none absolutes in life; anyone who tells you otherwise is either a fool or a liar.
