Same could be said for the FO.

Victim shaming at its finest.

The FO was a subordinate younger single (and attractive) female who was new to a corporate environment. Even IF she had gotten herself in a bad spot by drinking inside the window, she was given her slap on the wrist (with pay) and allowed to return to work no harm, no foul. Instead, she shows back up, finds out that the person with whom she had the incident and a person she vaguely knows is still employed and gives them a month to terminate him before filing suit. That doesn't sound an evil person just out to get a guy because he didn't want to date her or he she was infatuated by him so much she seduced him. Newsflash, that doesn't actually happen in real life. That sounds like the behavior of someone who was assaulted only to find out the person who assaulted her is still employed even after all of the awful details come to light.

You are assuming that she is a victim. At this stage, and with as many unanswered questions as there are is a stretch.

So far the captain has not even rebutted the allegations. Eventually, if he does not, he’ll lose the benefit of the doubt even in the legal arena. In the arena of public opinion even sooner.

Exactly. Why would someone call the company? That makes no sense. If you're too uncomfortable to call the cops, too scared to do something yourself, hotel security is an easy call. Did the FA not recognize the first officer?

And you're assuming he's the victim?

The man was older, married, had kids, in a management/leadership position, was caught on video spending 20 minutes trying to force her into his room and in the elevator being pushed away while trying to kiss her. Attention pilots: women are not throwing themselves at a 55 year old balding, beer bellied man with a wife and kids. That is a fantasy, not reality.

The female was single, new to the corporate world, on probation, and subordinate to the man. She was seen on security cameras struggling to not be dragged into his room (company's lawyer, not hers).

I'm no genius, but anyone saying anything other than she's a victim of sexual assault in the least is oblivious and only asking questions to try and victim shame the woman.

Lots of all of this going on in this thread, by the way. You want to know why she didn't call the cops? Because: this thread.

I'm not referring to the first officer, but the flight attendant who thought she saw a woman in trouble. I wouldn't think about calling the company, thousands of miles away. I would either intervene myself, call security or if it was bad enough, the police. Someone who could take immediate action.

Oh yeah, all young women more than half his age. Tasteless and disgusting.
Not to defend the disgraceful behavior of some idiot pilots, but let's not pretend those same tasteless and disgusting comments aren't routinely overheard from females in our industry. If you're not hearing them, you're not listening.

Men are justifiably considered pigs for talking like frat boys but please, let's not ignore that fact that women can be, and often are, far worse. The difference is that while men are censured and ostracized for their sexist behavior, women are often encouraged, even applauded for it. If what's being put out by entertainment and media isn't enough, hang out with a group of FAs on an overnight and listen for yourself. Better yet, watch a group of women at a batchelorette party.

Although convenient, males aren't the only bad actors.

You might be hearing that from reality television shows and some of your flight attendants. But you sure aren't hearing that from your female captains and first officers. I guarantee that.
