I hate to tell you, but if you’re banking on longevity to be heavily weighted, its not going to be. I’d be shocked to see anyone move more than 5-10% anywhere on your list.
Exactly. The guys I got merged in with at UAL were all hired 8 years before me. They're all older and were similar % at the time of the merger. They all think they got screwed despite the fact that their ability to bid changed little. They were JR then and they're JR now.

This forum is like a flipping Soap Opera. You can leave for a month, come back and pick up right where you left off.

Everyone needs to get together and drink a beer, some maybe 2 or 3. We all have jobs, we all are still above ground. Enjoy life and just let it go!

In 2020 rates at SWA 283 to 269 at B6. Medical still garbage, 5hr day Ok, long term med garbage, scope ok but honestly I think scope is a waste of time, my opinion only. Still well done B6 but you fade fast during robust times. What is there to crow about though. You don’t think the big 3 and SWA are coming in well above this really really soon?

Or do you just like to dog Alaska?

So you are fine with Horizon flying EMBs with 88 (90 when they order the E2) seats in them when JetBlue pilots fly their own 190s with what 99 seats? And the pay rate on those 190’s is our old 737 rates. Yea speak for yourself when you say “Scope is a waste of time”.

Right on, CassinAK... Can't believe we still have pilots on the property who are part of the "scope isn't worth the paper it's written on" crowd.

There is just no way to wake some of these people up.

I knew I screwed up a bit coming here when I was on newhire OE and my Checkairmen was talking with another captain and saying “we better not waste any Negotiating Capital on Scope”. At that time we had 7 CRJ 700s flying. Sure I guess that could trick you into not caring. But to still not think Scope is important either means you don’t give a sh it about your career or you have your head up your...

So all I can do now is try to educate those that will listen. I’ve seen a big shift in thinking, however obviously we still have some who haven’t yet seen the light.

Hopefully that mindset will be the minority in c2020. It seems most with that attitude I’ve experienced don’t have much time left in seat.

I hope you're right, but I do run into the occasional mid-seniority Kool-Aid captain.

Maybe the 800 Virgins will help overcome our no-scope Kool-Aid club.

No scope; no vote!

I think with the 800 Virgins and the younger AS pilots who have come from regionals will be able to turn the tide. We just can't let the trolls in this thread (or management) try to divide/instigate us through dumb posts on here.
