good questions- IMO as a SWAPA member I would not agree to allowing skywest or Horizon to continue to fly for AS the day after being bought. There is a reason we have good scope and I'd like to keep it that way.
however, I dont believe sw is buying AS or anybody for that matter. I think they are going huge on organic growth.

Ditto… hell to the NO on anyone flying SWA passengers other than the pilots on the SWAPA Master Seniority List. That’s a hard line in the sand.
I also don’t see us buying AS. But then again, I’ve been wrong and surprised before.

While I agree with you about SWA pilots flying SWA pax, there is president. I Flew SWA pax while working for ATA and SWA flew ATA pax. There was code share to Hawaii long before SWA did it themselves.
