Its nothing. Shyster law firms do this all the time to all kinds of publicly trades companies. Looking for an easy buck. A press release doesn’t cost much.

Basically.

There may or may not be a hint of fire behind the smoke.

Default It's a nothing burger

It's nothing related to mergers. The law firm says that the company illegally over compensated the ceo recently and they want those funds returned to the share holders. I spoke with the lawyers today myself.

There is no way they would even attempt a purchase of Alaska. It would be too expensive, never get approved and not really give United anything they must have. If anything they’d want JB only for the JFK gates and nothing more.

Have you seen AS stock??
Why would it not get approved?

So I’m curious to see what’s going to happen at AS after this merger goes through. It looks like JB/NK will prevail and if so, I don’t see any options for AS to grow and keep the brand alive. They wouldn’t want F9, right?
