Hopeful in a couple months they will be able to present something to the pilot group. Maybe that’s what your referencing in November.
I was told by the right individual, the company wants a TA done by the end of August, voting by late September. 305-315 is where they were willing to go without a legacy deal and ride up to the industry, if need be from there. He said almost all language is done, working on little kinks and numbers, done soon. This is not just “ok” gouge or P2P junk, it’s the real deal!

Alaska wanted a TA in April of 2019. They’ve always wanted a TA. What the TA looks like is the issue.

Let’s spin the words, Alaska doesn’t want a contract, they need a contract.

Let’s finish the rest of the sentence. They need a contract that’s cheap.

And $315/hr is just that.

Right, now they want a contract… geez why didn’t you tell us, I guess the last 3+ years wasn’t good enough but the end of August ‘22 is the Deadline now… hahaha I needed a good laugh. Better come prepared to put a TRUE economic proposal on the table then😉

Well, maybe,…. There’s a dang good reason to keep some things in the dark until the reality gets ironed out. The wild rumors about what United had negotiated weren’t tamped down and it’s thrown a serious wrench in the negotiations over there. And while management rumors regarding planes and mergers are entertaining…..when it comes to management rumors regarding contract negotiations…that’s called propaganda. Hard pass.

I will take a jab at it. We will still be working under this same contract in 2023. The “time value of money” crowd have left the building. If we have gone this far, we need to stay the course and go the rest of the way…..Voting no if and when required is not just a right but a duty…
