I didn’t say I was leaving the stadium.
“Game over” is only drama if your reading of that means the company evaporates. I recognize there would be more game to be played…. but, it wouldn’t be same game played for the last 93 years. THAT game would be over.
My apologies for introducing APC to drama. 😂

Alaska continuing on like it has the last 93 years is exactly what would happen if the above article came to fruition. A small, NW based, airline that caters to a niche crowd. It wouldn't be game over, it would be groundhog day. Nothing to see here.

Same number of routes, planes and pilots? (In this scenario.) Hmmm…. 👍🏻

Except pilots are leaving and a good number have interviews scheduled elsewhere.

93 years says so. However, another point of view is: the only time AS does grow, is when threatened by other carriers expansion. We'd still be 1500 pilots if not for DALs growth in SEA and JB attempt at VX. They don't make a move until forced. AS is purely a reactive company and the above scenario would absolutely force them to react. So I doubt very much it would be game over. It may even be the shove they need to make meaningful changes.
