As long as no one senior to them bids for a captain position of course.

Shocking that we even have applicants.

Little to no growth.

Contract work rules that are below our peers in every area(with one exception of long term disability which the company has proposed to completely GUT in their proposal).

No scope for regional flying.

Pay rates that even the unions proposal are now behind UAL.

It's embarrassing.

At least they are being transparent about it. You can’t grow and transition at the same time either. There will be a few more CA positions created by retirements. But the next 18 months are really about single fleet.

You would also expect a reduction in growth just prior to an anticipated or known merger. You want to achieve the best equity for your shareholders.

Its embarrassing, that you have no clue what you are talking about.

UAL’ MAX9 12 year CA Pay Jan 2024 324.74
ALK MAX9 12 year CA Pay Apr 2024 352.80

Now which number is bigger 🤔🤔🤔

1+1 is🤔, hum… this is really hard, should I really know the answer 🙄. Don’t just rant dude. Give real numbers or actually do the math. We all get it, your really, really unhappy.

It's not over yet for next year. They still have to displace out the remaining A321 pilots in LAX by end of year 2023. That will be even more displacements. Until the Busses are entirely gone, there won't be much growth on the CA side. The next 18 month goal seems to be to get 560 Airbus pilots over to Boeing.

What was that saying AS used to have? "Things will get better once the MDs are gone"

It still seems like an ambitious timeline goal. Hopefully they execute it well.

Chickens and eggs. That sort of thing. But hey, you're on a roll. We're way better than United (in your own mind)

Dude we don’t have that contract. That’s what we are asking for. My point was the, “pathetic we aren’t even asking for what United TA’d.”

What we're asking for is in the ballpark, but you lost me when you went with $350 in 2024. United has a TA with hard numbers. We have an outdated proposal and a management team who has trouble facing reality.

Your comparison is not equal.

We are asking for $320.00 an hour, +5% in 2023 , +5% in 2024 ? That equals 352.80.? I think, I gave pretty accurate numbers?

A buddy sent me UAL TA numbers… it was 324.74 1/1/24.

My point is our unions contract proposal doesn’t suck!
And yes over the last 6 mos our management has proved over and over again that they are incompetent.
