This fixes about 75% of things. 🤣 we will still have a HUGE amount of attrition. I know of about 20, plus me, who have started looking elsewhere. Plus side is I got the Delta response in a day! Glad I kept my logbook up to date.

And for reference, hired by Alaska. Not part of this so called “Angry 30.” Just sick of the “take what you get” mentality here. If you’re looking for a job and think Alaska is the place, don’t. Go to Spirit, JetBlue, American, Southwest, United, UPS, FedEx, or Delta.

This place will always be at the bottom. I give it less than a year. I’ll be gone by then but can’t wait to look back and say “I told ya so!”

You compare to Delta, while Delta has had a crew base in YOUR town… for what HALF of your career at Alaska?! If I felt like you do, I’d have left YEARS ago!

Im no Alaska apologist by any means. And, yes there are some things I’m disappointed in, and, when you vote no, totally respect that. But, for you to sit in SEA as a 15 yr Cpt, wagging your finger at whatever % votes yes and telling them THEY are the reason YOU haven’t had, and will never have the contract YOU “deserve”…. You want my life story? Moved to Seattle last year. Was waiting for the contract to be “the best.” It failed. So applications went out. I’m 43. Not worried at all.
