Will It Pass?

WHACK, you’re over on the Spirit board giving advice…. and on the Delta board saying you wish you could strike with em. Etc…. And now over here. You DO realize you’re not a member of ALPA right? I’d hope that at a min, with all that bravado, you’ve run for and currently hold a SWAPA leadership position so you can lead the charge.

So my union work and leadership obligations for my career have been more than fulfilled. Now I’m just gonna sit back and vote “NO” as often as it’s justified because I hold our profession in a higher regard than these initial TA’s have been reflecting.

You’re right. I definitely need to let other guys think and make all decisions for me 🙄😂 I respect your yes vote, as misguided as I believe it is. But your logic here is fascinatingly ridiculous. Stick with your position and try not to expound on it in public haha

I can sleep soundly knowing that in the first half of my career I’ve done a lot of volunteer union work (including heading the Strike Committee of a previous airline) and have also shut another airline down for almost three months.

They were indeed. Got hired at a non-PFT airline but chose the PFT route as Comair was a better carrier. Not claiming I was ethically right.

take your input and bring it up at their meetings. You have local and state politicians, where the same thing happens. You elect them to represent you, and they are supposed to serve you. Same
with elections at the national level. Our entire society is based on people electing a few to represent us and our interests. Not 335 million individual voices, but 2 from each state for a total of 100 in the Senate. And a House of Reps that vary based on how big the state is.
ALPA and your NC are no different.

No. This is how all aspects of society works. You have a neighborhood/association that will take your input and make decisions. You have a parent group that will work with teachers and get stuff done. Theyll
