Maybe I was just being impatient, but it felt like mine took forever.

A couple of weeks. I was told it can take up to 4-6 weeks.

Mine was about 3 months. I interviewed in January and my class date is in April.

New tidbit out of another “ how do we stop attrition” meeting. Pushing all job offers out in to the 90-120 day timeframe . Theory is that most pilots shopping job offers will take the class date at a major. Realization that competing against the major players is too costly. They want to collect data on what the majors are doing in that regard and bump the Alaska timeframe outside of that…Almost logical, Almost

So their approach isn't to try to stop the attrition, or even to attract more pilots... They're strategy is to actually TRY to get people to go elsewhere? 😂 Amazing

So they're wanting to see which applicants have other offers and end up bailing within the 90-120 day waiting period? Thereby filtering out the unfortunate few that don't have multiple offers. They're assuming, those willing to wait are not, "competitive or desirable enough", for the other airlines to hire. At which point they offer them a CJO with the assumption that these applicants don't have a better option and will stick around for a while......?
Awesome, nothing but blue skies ahead for AS....

Hello.

Can anyone clarify the initial phone interview? Is it simply a review of basic background information or are there any "surprises" to be aware of?

Thanks.
