Past hiring predictions have not been accurate, and that's putting it kindly.

Yes that is for q1 not the year. They have not released any hiring numbers for the whole year. And as others have said they have never hit their hiring numbers. But I hope they do.

So to answer the original point this was about, all our bases outside of Seattle are small and any movement however small has a significant effect. No there isn’t huge hiring planned. (Hope it changes, just not holding my breathe).

they said on the August pilot call that it’s gonna be 100 total that includes th 40 this year (20 in August 20 in the Dec class) so 60 more to go. That’s about right from 2026 retirements to cover for + 6 planes for growth so next bid maybe be in the range of 40-60 upgrades depends who they wanna parse the upgrades out

DM on the last pilot call (not the most recent joint HA AS one) that we are hiring 100 and that includes the pilots hired this year, but he did say they didn’t know if they’d hire later in the year for 2026. But we just need 100 new hires between now and summer and my guess later in 2026 hiring all depends on the max 10
