So with that in mind, for SEA/ANC guys, since PBS is on the way, are there dedicated cargo pairings, or are they just interspersed within various pairings? I didn’t look to see if there was a “cargo” selection in the “Avoid Pairings” side.
They're discrete pairings. And you can bid to avoid them using avoid pairings=>aircraft type=>7GF/8GF. Although nobody that doesn't want them is going to get them, they go pretty senior.

Thanks for the info.👍🏼 I know they go senior in SEA and ANC… I’m guessing maybe not so much in our “Most West Coast” bases.

That’s incorrect, this year’s CQ is not in SE Alaska…

The CQ is in Boise because they’re going to integrate the Horizon seniority list into Alaska’s and open a Boise base.

I didn't see if you could avoid it but you can for sure preference it.

Hey, question: This merger goes through...are they going to maintain separate branding/pilot groups or are the two companies going to combine under one name?

One seniority list, with a fence period to aircraft more likely than bases. Likely 3-5 years, but it’s an arbitrators decision. The product should stay as it is with few differences.

Yes, but probably not for that reason.

One company and seniority list. They claim that they will maintain both company airlines names for branding purposes (nobody in Asia would buy a ticket on Alaska to fly to hawaii). I would bet that eventually they will rebrand both entity’s under one new company name. That’s just my uneducated guess though.
