Applied when the window opened in August. Emailed for interview early November. Interview late November. Was told Q1 for class after CJO. Waiting on class dates. Totals and background are similar to previous MIL posters.

For those that were hired under the Alaska/Hawaiian team and are going to the Hawaiian seniority list can you shed some light on what the footprint for training looks like now? Ie; Is it a week in Seattle for basic indoctrination then back to HNL for aircraft specific training? Just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks!

That seems to be the footprint for new hires going to the Hawaiian side. One week in SEA, then HNL for fleet specific stuff.

Sure seems like y’all could start a new thread on just fleet updates and rumors. And certainly base openings and fleet size changes effects hiring.…. But for those who have been hired… have any news on class dates and sizes for us new hires??

Here's what the company shared with us: We have a position bid opening opening tomorrow and they plan to hire about 90 FOs during the first quarter. End of shared information.

The company doesn't tell us when a class starts, we only see it on the 1st of the following month in the ALPA seniority report.

Someone with a CJO sharing their assigned class date is the best way to get timely information.

yup… my attempt to steer fleet conversations to its own thread was futile. How dare I attempt to preserve a thread for new hires to share information in a concise and informative manner 😅

Fleet discussion moved to General Discussion thread.

Just a data point for other new hires. I received a CJO in September but my availability wasn't until January. I chose the HA seniority list. About a week ago I received my class date in mid January, so about 5 weeks notice. No additional information on how many days in Seattle prior to training in Hawaii.
